Massage Therapists
Kathy Shull, CMT
Kathy is a graduate of the Baltimore School of
Massage. Her training includes Swedish,
deep tissue, sports and myofascial massage. Her favorite areas of concentration are
prenatal and postnatal massage, geriatric massage and specific injury
recovery. Other specific disorders she
focuses on are fibromyalgia, cancer (with physician’s
release), arthritis, and stress. Kathy
uses warm stones and other spa related therapies to achieve muscular and mental
relaxation.
Richard Centola, LMT
Rich graduated from the Alternative Conjunction Clinic
and
Rich is now offering reflexology, an ancient tradition
that uses thumb and finger pressure on points and areas of the feet to release
blockages throughout the body and reestablish balance. Benefits include relaxation, increased blood
supply and unblocked nerve impulses.
Steve Ayton, CMT
Steve, a graduate of the PA Myotherapy
Institute, joined the YWCA staff in 2007.
He is trained in Swedish techniques and deep tissue myofacial
release. Steve pulls from all his resources to give his clients a massage that
is need-specific. Stress reduction and
relaxation as well as sports massage and prenatal massage are all within his
scope of practice.
Some YWCA members may remember Steve from the early 90’s,
when he ran the YWCA junior and senior floor hockey leagues. The same passion
and dedication he had then has carried on into his career as a massage
therapist. Upon graduating massage school in November 2006, Steve has worked as
a massage therapist at
Richelle Herman, CMT
Shelly
is a certified massage therapist currently enrolled at the Pennsylvania Myotherapy Institute for massage therapy. She is a graduate of
She is
currently qualified to offer half hour and hour therapeutic massage, foot
massage, chair massage, facials, hot stone massage, abdominal work and sports
massage. Upon graduation she will expand
to offer prenatal massage, spa modalities (body wraps, seaweed wraps, etc.),
manual lymph drainage massage, cranial-sacral work and equine massage (horse
massage).

Therepeutic Facial $15
25-35 minutes facials using all natural ingredients and include
cleanser/toner, hot hydrotherapy towel, facial, mask with neck and shoulder
massage.
