Fitness Interval Training
Swim with our group and get connected to fitness, fun, and community. Workouts are geared to each individual so that everyone gets a great workout!
Use every muscle in your body by swimming different strokes, and using pull buoys, kickboards, and fins!
F.I.T. Swimming appropriately challenges beginner to competitive swimmers by improving stroke technique and endurance. Whether you are a traditional competitive swimmer, an open water swimmer, a triathlete, or you just want to swim laps for exercise, this group is for you! Not only is swimming a life skill it will help you develop a healthier lifestyle, build friendships with fellow swimmers, and grow by meeting your own personal fitness goals.
F.I.T. Swimming is free for YWCA members. If you would like to compete, you can register for United States Masters Swimming! Our Masters Coach, Beth Raub, can guide you through the process of getting registered.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:15 pm – 5:45 pm. When Gettysburg High School is using the pool for practice, class time switches to 4:45-5:45 pm.
