It’s fall and all is nearly new again!

It is about that time…Pumpkin Spice is back, Friday Night Football games are back in action, and school is in full swing. Which means it is time to start thinking about the Nearly New Children’s Consignment Sale at the YWCA of Gettysburg and Adams County. With the warmer weather right now, it is hard to think about the cold, but it is getting darker earlier, and the nights are cooler, so we are getting a taste of what is to come.

Do you have gently used children’s clothing, toys, shoes, books, games, etc., that you would want to consign for a small fee or donate to the YWCA for this sale?

Donations and Consignments will be accepted Sunday, October 20, from 11:00 am-4:00 pm and Monday/Tuesday, October 21-22, from 9:00 am-7:00 pm at the YWCA of Gettysburg, 909 Fairfield Rd, Gettysburg. Why buy pre-loved kids’ clothing? Well, they grow up fast, don’t they? It seems kids are constantly growing out of clothing you just bought – and maybe at a premium price.  So, you’ll save at the sale, of course, and with the Nearly-New consignment, you might even make some money. You’ll find a hard-to-beat selection, and It’s even a great way to recycle.

We are always looking for volunteers to help throughout the week, from setup to sale to cleanup. Volunteer hours are  Sun 10/20, 10:00 am-4:00 pm, Mon-Weds 10/21-10/23, 9:00 am-7:00 pm, Thurs 10/24, 9:00 am-??, 6:00-8:00 pm, Fri 10/25, 7:30 am-6:00 pm, Sat 10/26, 8:30 am-1:30 pm. If you are willing and available to help, we would love to have you. You can sign up by calling the front desk at 717.334.9171 or just show up throughout the week when your schedule allows.
